GuysRawMovement

Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm not a man of wealth or fame, I'm just a man with a purpose in life to educate people on the tried and true methods of my madness. You see, I don't have a PhD in anything, and I don't have any Certifications in Nutrition Science, But, I am a Certifiable Guinea Pig in my own experimentation in the Land of Raw Nutrition. I would like to start by telling you, If you plan to embark on this crazy little thing called Raw Dieting, Be forewarned that it is a process, and it will take time to fully achieve perfect health. If you jump in full swing at first, you will have some very negative results like, Migraine headaches, constipation, gassiness, fatigue, and acne. I recommend transitioning slowly from a mainstream diet of cooked foods and garbage to a healthy raw diet. Start out by juicing in the morning. I like to make Green Lemonade. This is a staple in every raw foodist's daily regime. It is made by juicing 2 apples 1 lemon 1 head of Romaine lettuce and some Kale or any dark, leafy greens. Then after about 20 minutes or so, I juice melons, apples, strawberries, pears, or whatever is in season, and drink up. That's my Breakfast. I then have fresh fruit throughout the morning like, watermelon or cantaloupe or grapes. Then for lunch I'll have a nice salad with Romaine lettuce, Maybe some kale, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, sprouts, flax seeds, and some homemade dressing made with lemons, balsamic vinegar, raw honey, sea salt, pepper, dark mustard, apple cider vinegar, fresh herbs and an avocado. Usually, that is enough food to last until dinner. For my dinner, I usually make some kind of Raw Gazpacho, Tomatoes, Kale, Sprouts, Carrots, Avocado, Zucchini, sea salt, pepper, cayenne pepper,   and anything else I feel like throwing in like, Chia seeds or Dried Seaweed. Basically, It's pretty much a salad of some sort put through the food processor to become a raw, cold soup, Yummy!
I don't recommend anybody start out going all raw at first. As a matter of fact, I recommend you start out by going just raw until dinner time, Then just have a sensible meal like, Brown rice and mixed steamed veggies and maybe a sweet potato. Maybe Quinoa mixed with veggies and a nice green leafy side salad. Hey people, you get the picture here don't you? Cut out the crap slowly but surely, like Meat, White sugars and flours, anything that comes in a box prepared already, anything frozen, Fresh is Best!
Stop smoking, Start working out with things like Yoga, Walking, Pilates, Something, people, just get moving! O.K. Some supplementation I like to use that has worked for me is, Maca root powder which increases energy, and also promotes endocrine function, and contains a boat load of phytonutrients, 8 minerals, 20 fatty acids, 6 sterols, and tons of vitamins, saponins, carbohydrates and protein. I also use Spirulina, Goji Berries, Raw Cacao, Chia Seeds, and Stevia and Honey for my sweeteners. Now before some of you start crying, "I'm trying to watch my carbs", or some lame excuse for not embarking on this change. I will show you in up coming blogs why you'll never have to worry about counting carbs or calories or protein or fat or anything ever again! Stop the magic pills! They don't replace fresh fruits and vegetables! They don't contain the necessary Hydrating properties that fresh fruits and veggies do! In upcoming blogs, I will explain the benefits of all the supplements I mentioned herein.
Well I've got to go now. Until then, Stay Hungry!     Guy
